The post writer concluded the post with the following lines:
"I can only hope that someday our desi parents might get rid of the doctor/ engineer fever and instead open their minds and see other professions with same dignity and respect."

A Tribute To Nelson Mandela

Mandela was born on july 18,1918 in South Africa.
He had been an Anti-apartheid activist and was imprisened for 27 years on charge of so called sabotage crimes.
He won the first fully democratic presidential election in South Africa in 1994 and served his tenurue until 1999.
The United Nations has marked International Nelson Mandela Day since 2009.
It is a call to action for people everywhere to take responsibility for making the world a better place, one small step at a time, just as Nelson Mandela did.
